Mpls Ski Club Locations

Practices will consist of 6 Tuesdays or Wednesdays and 4 Sundays this spring from April 16th, through May 22nd (Mother's day May 12th off). 

Sunday Distance Skis at Franklin Hill (also known as Annie Young Meadow)  8:30 am - 10:30 am Sunday dates are as follows: 4/21, 4/28, 5/5, 5/19

All Wednesday and Sunday practices will take place at Franklin Hill (also known as Annie Young Meadow) 6 pm - 7:15pm Wednesday dates are as follows: 4/17, 4/24, 5/1, 5/8, 5/15, 5/22

New this year Tuesday Technique Session at Wildwood Elementary   6 pm - 7:15 pm Tuesday dates are as follows: 4/16, 4/23, 4/30, 5/7, 5/14, 5/21

Tuesday and Wednesday  are Technique focus Sessions we like to video technique and make real time adjustments with athletes, as well as, work on proper technique positioning and cues and incorporating these into drills.  We have found these Spring sessions really set athletes up to carry improved technique into their summer volume training.

Sunday Distance Skis at Franklin Bridge 8:30 am - 10:30 am.  These sessions we work on reviewing proper technique at the beginning and then carrying that technique into and throughout a longer distance ski.  Athletes build endurance strength and discover where they need to become stronger, be it core stability, balance, upper body strength, etc.
